How did you get into CrossFit:

I guess you could say my Crossfit story is pretty typical.  I played sports in high school and college. I was athletic in a sense that I played sports. During college, I injured my ALC so I had to leave the sport I loved.  Then I started going to a traditional gym for about a year but still looked for that intensity as college football.  Teaching and doing personals was okay at the gym was okay, but could not fill the void. Heard about??? made a phone call showed up in the morning on December 16, 2013 and never looked back.  Now, I coach for Crossfit Rockkore I want to help people realize their potential and reach their goals.  Focus on what you CAN do-forget about the CANT’S.

How did you get into CrossFit?

I discovered CrossFit in October 2012, and have never missed a day since.  At first I was skeptical aboutbtrying CrossFit since I was accustomed to the regular gym routine.  On my first visit I felt intimidated by the CrossFit movements and thought, “This isn’t for me, I’ll never be able to lift like that”.  Here I am today as a Crossfit Coach and athlete inspiring and motivating others to achieve goals that seemed impossible.  CrossFit Rockkore isn’t a  regular gym, it becomes a second home, filled with high energy and goal driven individuals that become family.

How did you get into CrossFit?

In January of 2013, after going to the regular gym for years after highschool I became bored with my workouts. Everyday was the same routine asthe previous week so I felt the need to find something new that wouldpush my limits. I finally gave in to the numerous invitations I hadreceived to try this thing called "crossfit". Although I hated how soreI was after the first week I decided to stick it out for a month. Here Iam today, apart of the staff that introduced me to the "Sport ofFitness". As a local firefighter Crossfit has helped prepare me bothphysically & mentally for the unknown, whether it be at work or in thebox. The community; made up of individuals from different places &different backgrounds all working out to achieve one goal is justamazing! This sport will change you if you trust the process!!
